This strategic plan, led by Teodoro Octavio Martínez Ruíz, focuses on optimizing costs, reducing delivery times, and lowering the company’s carbon footprint—reinforcing CIMA’s position as one of Mexico’s most dynamic and fast-growing multisector groups.
Originally established with a regional strategy in northern Mexico, CIMA has evolved to meet the needs of increasingly demanding consumers—those who expect better service, product availability, and faster delivery. Today, the group operates business units in food, health, technology, security, education, and retail, requiring an integrated logistics network to ensure operational efficiency.
“We’re investing in infrastructure not just as a physical asset, but as an enabler of operational efficiency that drives profitability and ensures service excellence,” said Teodoro Octavio Martínez Ruíz, CEO of CIMA.
New distribution and manufacturing hubs across Mexico.
In 2024, CIMA reinforced its presence in Coahuila with a new 2,000 m² distribution center in Saltillo, equipped with cold storage rooms to preserve perishable products and optimize logistics routes across the northeast.
This same year, the company will open a new distribution center in Nuevo León and an assembly plant in Aguascalientes—expanding its logistics capacity in the north and the Bajío, with strategic coverage reaching the center and south of the country.
The impact of CIMA’s logistics expansion:
Through this infrastructure strategy, CIMA aims to:
-
- Reduce delivery times and logistics costs, optimizing routes to efficiently serve wholesale and retail clients.
- Lower its carbon footprint, shortening transport distances and implementing cleaner, more efficient mobility technologies.
- Optimize inventory management, increasing product turnover and reducing storage costs.
- Expand production and customization capacity, integrating new ready-to-eat food lines and retail technology devices.
The consolidation of CIMA’s distribution and manufacturing network across Mexico strengthens its competitiveness and operational resilience, ensuring efficient, sustainable growth at every stage of its development.
With this expansion, CIMA reaffirms its commitment to efficiency, sustainability, and service—positioning itself as a benchmark in logistics infrastructure and national growth under the leadership of Teodoro Octavio Martínez.
